
Tammie S. Roitman, is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. She achieved her certification in Clinical Hypnotherapy from The Hypnotherapy Training Institute (HTI) and remains in good standing with the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners. The Hypnotherapy Training Institute has been in operation since 1978, and is considered one of the leading hypnotherapy training schools in the world, helping set the standard for the field of hypnotherapy.
Hypnotherapy enables people to move forward in their lives by making positive changes in their attitudes, levels of aspiration and gives them hope so they can make the changes in their behavior, leading to positive changes in their lives. Tammie brings out the truth of who you are and why you’re here. She is adept at helping people get past any blocks, stresses and/or challenges. She’s coached people to respect, release and embrace his or her talents and organic, intuitive gifts.
Before becoming a certified clinical hypnotherapist, Tammie was a school psychologist for 16 years in Clark County School District, working with students and young adults with mental and behavioral health disorders. She co-wrote the school district’s ADHD protocol that set the standard for CCSD evaluations and interventions of students with ADHD. Tammie also co-authored The Suicidal Protocol which set the standards for CCSD evaluations of students who have suicidal ideation. Tammie was solely responsible for the conceptualization, planning and implementation of Clark County School District’s Mental Health Transition Team. This ensures that a child discharged and then transferred from a psychiatric treatment facility (locally and nationally) to their local school have the opportunity to receive a transition plan that facilitates their success at school. This transition plan, specifically accommodates their mental health conditions to ease the transition and increase their chances of overall success. Tammie has been responsible for training school psychologists, nurses, counselors and administrative school personnel on working with children with impairments due to their behavioral and psychiatric conditions.
Tammie was trained by Randal Churchill and Cheryl Canfeild, both are nationally and international respected trainers and practitioners around the world in the field of hypnotherapy.
Tammie enjoys spending time meditating in the Peruvian jungle and learning from the indigenous people. She travels the world to learn about other people and their cultures.
